Hey guys, this is Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Ford F-150, and we're gonna be taking a look at the K Source Clip-on towing mirrors. Now, when it comes to towing mirrors, the biggest benefit is what we're gonna show you right now. When you're towing a trailer that's long like this, a lot of times you can't see the entire load in your factory mirror or you're focusing your factory mirror on your trailer and you're not able to see much to the next lane, if you need to change lanes, that's where these towing mirrors are gonna come in handy. So you can see me in our factory mirror right now, but if I move what were to be the next lane or two lanes over, you can still see me in our towing mirror and you can't see me anymore in the factory mirror. This is the dangers of not having a set of towing mirrors when you're pulling a load down the highway. more

Today, we're taking a look at the K source universal towing mirrors on our 2020 Ford F150 The mirrors on our Ford F150 are pretty big. The one on the factory mirror of our F150 is a flat mirror. And as you can see as I go over, I seem to be a little bit more far away with the universal K source mirror, and that's just because of the shape of the mirror. And when it comes to towing mirrors, it's not just about you being able to see what you're hauling, it's also about other people as well. So you're gonna be able to see those people in the other lanes a little bit more clear. Adding a towing mirror to your ranger is really gonna increase your visibility whenever you're towing, because we want to see whatever we have behind us, and this is gonna be a great way to do it, because whenever we need it, we simply just throw it on our vehicle and when we're done with it, just take it right back off. Now we're gonna have a plastic framework that runs around the outside of our mirror. We're gonna have two hooks that actually grab onto that frame, to keep it nice and secure. One thing I do like about this is how easy they are to take on and off. more

Longview Slip On Towing Mirrors Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video

Hey guys, today, we're going to be taking a look and showing you how to install the Longview custom towing mirrors here on our 2019 Ford F-150.So here, just to give you guys an example of the improvements we're going to have with our custom towing mirrors, as you can see now, I'm going to be visible here in our factory mirrors. But if I we're to step out to the right here, which would emulate a passing car, we wouldn't be able to see ourselves anymore in the factory mirror. We would however, then become visible in our custom towing mirrors. So these custom towing years here, they're going to be an excellent option for our F150. If we find ourselves to be towing frequently, they're going to be a must-have item.So the main thing that these are really going to improve is really when we're out on the highway. We're out on the highway, we have a very long rig with our truck and our trailer, and if we need to change lanes, we really need to account for a large amount of space, which isn't always visible here in our factory mirrors. more

And you could also have it sideways for those wider loads you may be hauling, but it is going to be able to fit the needs of whatever you may be hauling. Not only is this going to allow you to see those longer loads you may be hauling, it's also going to widen your view, getting rid of a lot of those blind spots that your factory mirror may not be able to show you. It's going to give you peace of mind going down the road and also keep you, your passengers, and everybody else a lot more safe.So we are going to get one rather large mirror that's going to be able to rotate around a central point and also be able to tilt up and down and left and right. So it's going to be able to fit whatever you may be hauling. It also has a telescopic tube, which you can either take it out wider, or put it all the way in next to your factory mirror and then tighten it down.It is clamped on using these clamps as you see here, and then there's a rubber coating on the bottom of this pad so you don't have to worry about scratching your factory mirror's paint. more

Today on our 2019 Ford Ranger we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror.When pulling a trailer a towing mirror is going to be a great tool to have to help increase our line of sight and keep us safer as we go down the road.When towing a trailer our factory mirror is only going to provide us with so much visibility. That can be a real inconvenience, especially when we're trying to change lanes, back up or even keep an eye on our trailer. That's where our towing mirror's going to come into play. As you can see I'm visible in our towing mirror lends and not in our factory mirror. However, if I take a few steps over, closer to our truck, I then become visible in our factory mirror and you'll notice that there wasn't any blind spots.Now one thing I'd like to point out, with our towing mirror attached, we're hardly going to lose any adjustability with our factory mirror.Since we are extending the overall length of our mirror getting into tight spots can be challenging. more

When pulling a trailer, our factory mirror is only going to provide us with so much line of sight, and that can be a real inconvenience, whether we're making lane changes, backing up, or just wanting to keep an eye on our trailer. That's where our towing mirror is going to come into play.As you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror, and that's how much more vision you're going to have when you're pulling your trailer. If I take a few steps closer to the truck, you'll see me disappear out of the towing mirror, and become visible in our factory mirror. You might have noticed too, that's going to eliminate any blind spots.One of the things I really like about this towing mirror is that when it's in place, it's not going to affect our factory lens adjustability. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Review - 2015 Ford Explorer- Video

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the K-Source dual view clip on towing mirror on our 2015 Ford Explorer. Now what I really like about this mirror is the fact that it does give you those two mirrors. The larger mirror is going to give you a really accurate depiction of what's behind you, where the smaller mirror is going to act like a spot mirror. Now having that extra field of view is really nice, especially when you're towing a trailer. You can keep an eye on the tires in the back or if we need to change lanes we can make sure that we know what's going on.So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror but if I we're to step away, you're going to lose track of me. Just like if we needed to change lanes on the highway, or we're passing somebody or potentially backing our trailer up at the camp grounds, either way our mirror is going to give us an accurate depiction, we'll get a wider field of view, and we can confidently get down the road knowing that everyone around us and ourselves are going to be safe. more
